WEDGE SPROUTS!!!!

When it comes to having a green thumb...we are late bloomers...if we ever get anything to sprout, let alone bloom!!!!

Each spring we have grandiose dreams of growing our own vegetables for the summer and each spring the squirrels and raccoons shatter our dreams until this year!













Who would have known that potatoes are hardy and can withstand being dug up several times!













Walter and Brie are hard at work in the box garden!








Speaking of sprouting plants...how about checking out Wedges, House of Hsueh and other local Toronto Artists at the Sprout Art Show and Fair!

Place: St. Alban's Boys and Girls Club - 843 Palmerston Avenue at Bathurst and Dupont - in Toronto's Annex community.

Time: from 1 to 5 pm.
Admission: FREE!!!

The show promises to feature "up-and-coming local artists. Textiles, clothing, jewelry, soap, paper goods, and other handmade goods."
